Harris County Tax Assessor-Collector Mike Sullivan is attending school in College Station presented by Texas A&M AgriLife Extension & V.G. Young Institute of County Government.
The three day conference focuses on furthering education and networking among counties.
Sullivan believes continuing education, strong community involvement and utilizing progressive tools are keys to running a successful office for citizens of Harris County.
This year Sullivan has been nominated as one of eleven finalists for "Texas Tax Assessor-Collector of the year."
"I am humbled and honored to be nominated. My goal for Harris County is to create the best customer service experience possible," says Sullivan.
Each of the eleven regions nominates a tax assessor-collector to represent them in the running.
