Mike Sullivan prepares call center to assist voters on Election Day

With early voting wrapping up, Tax Assessor-Collector Mike Sullivan is preparing a call center to assist voters on Election Day.

On Tuesday, November 8, voters will be required to vote at the polling location for the precinct in which they are registered. They can find their poll by visiting the Harris County Clerk’s website at www.harrisvotes.com or by calling 713.274.VOTE (8683).

“Early voting for this year’s election ends on Friday, November 4,” said Sullivan. “On Election Day, we’re expecting a record turnout of voters. My office will be assisting voters by hosting a 250-person call center. We will be helping voters check their voter registration status, find their specific precinct polling location and answer any questions. We expect to receive more than 50,000 calls.”

“In addition, all voter registration certificates now have a QR Code to assist voters in finding their poll location. This is another way my office has been embracing technology to help voters find their poll,” said Sullivan.

Registered voters are reminded to visit www.VoteTexas.gov to review the voter identification requirements, including the updated information for voters who do not possess and cannot reasonably obtain an approved photo ID.

Harris County Tax Assessor-Collector Mike Sullivan also serves as the Harris County Voter Registrar, which conducts voter registration activities and maintains a certified list of registered voters. Learn more about voter registration and the requirements by visiting www.hctax.net.
