Harris County Tax Office Election Day Call Center
Has Over 190 Trained Employees Ready to Help

Tax Office Election Day Call Center Open from 7 a.m. – 7 p.m.

(Harris County, TX) Harris County Tax Assessor-Collector & Voter Registrar Ann Harris Bennett announces that the Tax Office will have 191 trained employees available to assist voters and Election Judges on Election Day, Tuesday, November 5, 2019.

“As Voter Registrar for the nation’s third largest county, I want to help ensure that registered voters are able to cast their ballots,” said Bennett. “My staff is prepared to help voters and Election Judges with any type of voter registration inquiries.”

Election Day assistance will be available to voters by calling the Voter Registration Help Desk at 713-274-8208. Election Judges have been provided a separate telephone line.

“All 191 employees that will be answering Election Day calls have gone through extensive training in preparation for November 5,” added Bennett. “Many of these employees have worked multiple elections, but they still participate in Election Day training to make sure that every caller receives the help they need in an efficient and capable manner.”

The Voter Registration Help Desk will operate from 7 a.m. – 7 p.m. Voter support will also be available in Spanish, Vietnamese and Chinese.
