IMPORTANT: Pursuant to the Texas Property Tax Code §31.01, please note that by selecting the electronic delivery option, you will no longer receive tax bills via mail delivery. The Tax Office offers installment payment agreement to allow time for property owners to pay their delinquent property taxes. We offer payment plans ranging from 12 months up to 36 months.
How Does This Work?
Agreements will include all delinquent taxes for - both current and prior years. Accounts with a lawsuit, bankruptcy or pending tax sale may be subject to pre-qualifications.
For homestead property, with a payment agreement in place, no additional penalty will be assessed, however 1% interest will accrue each month until the account is paid in full.
If you enter into a payment agreement, the account will not be turned over to the collection law firm, and the additional attorney’s collection fee of 15-20% will not be assessed.
For general questions and more information about installment payment agreements, we encourage you to read the payment agreement frequently asked questions. Frequently Asked Questions
Please note: A minimum of 5 accounts is required for payment through the account manager.
